Microgrants

Need funding to kickstart your own sustainability learning project?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, proposed projects must be compliant with provincial and Public Health guidelines and restrictions. Our colleges’ students’ safety is our paramount concern.

Read the Guidelines to learn how you can participate!

The SIF Microgrants program provides Mohawk students opportunities to gain sustainability skills and knowledge by creating their own sustainability projects.

If you’re a current Mohawk student who needs funding for a sustainability project or for an off-campus educational opportunity (such as a conference, work placement, etc.), you can apply for funding of up to $1,000. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Learn more here.

Have a sustainability project that you want to lead?

Have a work or volunteer opportunity in sustainability but need financial assistance to participate?

If you’re a current Mohawk student, you can apply to receive a microgrant of up to $1,000.
