Lights Off At Night

Idea submitted by: Alisha Howard-Belcher - Human Services Foundation

Mohawk College does turn off most class room lights. But some lights that are on don't need to be, like the library, hallways, DBARC, the indoor and outdoor TV monitors. The only lights that should be on at night are the exit signs, street lights and any emergency lights.

Turning off all unused items that emit electricity and energy will save the college some money. It will allow them to focus on other areas of the school to become more energy efficient and planet friendly.
